A couple of months ago I started writing, with the intention of discussing my way through the book “Christ Centered Contentment.” I got stopped by Holy Week and Easter, as I shifted gears to blog on the events of Holy Week – and then family demands kept me from returning to the keyboard for awhile. Let’s start over.

Before I get back to the book, I found something strangely interesting on my desk today. I’m trying to dig out from under my pile of unsorted and incomplete projects. And I found my class notes from a course I took in the mid-90s from my good friend, Bryan Salminen. Now, that may seem like the LEAST interesting thing you can imagine. But reading my old notes (and my comments on the material) I discovered that I had already discovered things that I’m still just discovering!

That is – I found that I am still learning things I thought I had learned. And each time I come back to them I learn a bit more. If you would be interested in a short summary, then keep reading…
