St. Paul Church & School Foundation

What is the St. Paul Lutheran Church & School Foundation?

The St. Paul Church & School Foundation is an endowment fund that provides a permanent source of funding for St. Paul Lutheran Church and School. By Policy, the endowment allocates up to 4% of a 16 financial quarter rolling balance of the named funds annually for the intended purposes of each fund. God has blessed St. Paul Church & School in the past several decades through dedicated servants now resting in the Lord. Their foundation gifts continue to bless us and enable us to grow our mission of bringing the Gospel to new families.

Types of Donations:

Annual Special Gifts
If you and your family have been blessed this year, consider giving a special gift to the Lord’s work through the ministries of St. Paul Church and School. If you are retired and are withdrawing from an IRA, consider a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) to lower your taxes and support our ministries.

Legacy Giving Plans
Imagine a future in which your God-given gifts continue to benefit your family and faith after you’re called home to Heaven. With a charitable estate plan, your assets—things like retirement accounts, your home or land—will leave a positive, lasting impact upon the people you love, but also the congregation or ministries you care about most. We of course want to provide for our loved ones, but also think about the blessings received through faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Remember also the blessings you have received through the ministries at St. Paul Church and School.

“I had the privilege of attending the All Church Workers conference in Grand Rapids recently. As an administrative employee, I initially wasn’t sure how I might fit into the process or the event. However, the short weekend was quickly graced with inspiring speakers, opportunities to find out what other people in the District are doing, and some amazing breakout sessions! My sessions offered the opportunity to write, hear from others who are doing ministry outreach and service in their communities, and learn about living generously. Many thanks to our Special Gifts committee for their generosity in helping us all have this opportunity!”

Thank you St. Paul congregation and our Special Gifts Foundation for allowing our staff this awesome opportunity to learn so much from the Best Practices Ministry Conference at Christ Church in Phoenix! Because of your genorosity, we were able to dive deep into ministry and church leadership topics and learn helpful tools and practices to help us serve our community at St. Paul, Ann Arbor even better. We had fun growing together as a staff and interacting with other LCMS church staff from around the country.
