Tense: Dealing with Uncomfortable Tensions in Scripture
Many Christians know and wrestle with the major tensions of the Christian Scriptures: Jesus as fully God and fully Man, we are simultaneously saints and sinners, and so on. I will attempt to outline a few less obvious ones and demonstrate why they are so important in the lives of Christians-particularly Christian men.

The dates for the retreat are Friday, September 30, through Sunday, September 2, following this basic schedule:

Friday, September 30
Afternoon – Carpool to Camp Arcadia
4:00-7:30 PM – Check-In
5:00-7:30 – Buffet Dinner & Beer Tasting
Evening – Welcome/Speaker/Vespers
Saturday, October 1
Morning – Breakfast, Speaker Sessions, Tournaments
Afternoon – Lunch & Free Time Activities (Options: Hiking, Archery, Euchre, Brewery Tour)
Evening – Dinner/Session/Vespers/
Sunday, October 2
Morning – Breakfast/Polar Bear Swim/Bible Study/Worship
Afternoon – Lunch/Depart for Home
(Ultra Optional) Thursday/Friday September 29-30
Thurs Morning – Carpool to Arcadia Area
Thurs Afternoon – Round of Golf in NW Michigan
Thurs Evening – Dinner near Arcadia
Fri Morning/Afternoon – Breakfast & Round of Golf
(Thurs Lunch/Dinner, Friday Lunch, & Golf are an extra cost)
COSTS
The cost for the retreat is $216 and includes lodging and meals.
For those staying Thursday night, lodging is an additional $50.
Thursday Dinner, Friday Lunch, and any fees for golfing are not included in retreat rate. Talk with Pastor Roggow if you have any questions about golf options.
A deposit of $100 is due upon registration.
