Greetings,

Wow! It is hard to believe that this is our last newsletter! Thank you for allowing me the privilege to be your child’s teacher and share in their growth. It has been a great year, because this is a great class!

THANK YOU to Mr. Ehrman, Mr. Cross, Mr. Runstadler, Mr. Tincher, and Mrs. Dorsey for driving and chaperoning to the zoo. I hope you enjoyed it as much as the students did!

Puppet Book Report is due May 30^th! Make your own puppet of a main character in your book. Write out a summary of the book from your puppet’s point of view. You will be reading your summary with your puppet in class. Ideas for puppets include: sock, lunch bag, or stick.

Here is what is scheduled for the LAST two weeks:

Math Test 21 -over material to lesson 105

Wednesday,5/28/08 Chapel MI History Test –Chapter 10!

Thursday, 5/29/08 Unit 6 Spelling Review Test

Friday 5/30/08 Last Day for Puppet Book Reports

End of the Year MATH Test + Last Memory Test

AR Alternate Dress Day

Monday, 6/2/08 –

Wednesday, 6/04/08 – Class Bowling and Pizza Party 10:30-12:30

Clean up the room – Bring a Brown grocery bag

Thursday, 6/05/08 – Track and Field Day

Friday, 6/06/08 LAST DAY Dismissal at 11:30!

Our room mothers are planning an end of the year bowling party on Wednesday, June 4^th. We will bowl 2 games and eat a pizza lunch before returning to school by 1:00. Look for the permission slip to come home.

Thanks for all your help in driving, parties, and overall help in lots of areas!
