What an AWESOME week we had! I really enjoyed celebrating Lutheran Schools Week with the entire school. I think the kids did as well. We laughed a lot and had a lot of fun. It was even better that the weather was fantastic! Each morning we started off with an all- school devotion and then we started our days. What a lot of fun it was to get together every morning as a school.

On Thursday we went down to Concordia for the Fine Arts Festival. I am not sure if the kids shared with you how they did, but they should be extremely proud. They received a 1 which is the highest rating they could get. I was lucky enough to listen to them perform and they sounded the best they ever have. I am very proud of each and every one of them!
Today we ended our week by watching a movie with the 3rd and 4th graders. It was fun and we got to eat popcorn and drink pop. What a treat!
Next week we start Achievement Testing. I know that you have been told this before, but it will be EXTREMELY important for the kids to get a good nights sleep and eat a healthy breakfast in the morning. I would like to provide a small nutritious snack for them each morning of testing as well. I am still in need of donations for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. If you can help out with a donation please let me know asap. I would really appreciate your help!
That sums it up again! I hope you have a great weekend and are able to worship too! Don’t forget to “SPRING AHEAD” this weekend so you are not late for church or school! Get some rest and I will see you all on Monday ready for testing! See you Monday!

In Christ ~

The Fourth Petition with Meaning
Give us this day our daily bread.
What does this mean? God certainly gives daily bread to everyone without our prayers, even to all evil people, but we pray in this petition that God would lead us to realize this and to receive our daily bead with thanksgiving.

Matthew 6:34
Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
