Greetings:

It was so great to meet with all of you last week at conferences.  Thanks for taking the time to meet with me.

Remember that a biography book report is due November 25^th.  This week we will continue to read Frindle, which we are enjoying a lot!  Students will be able to use the AR points from the test, but since it is a class book, it does not count as an independent reading book.

The state capital and Historical Museum field trip is on Wednesday, November 19^th.  We will leave before 9:30 a.m. and return by 3 p.m.. Don’t forget to pack a lunch and drink for your child.

On Wednesday, November 26, we will celebrate Thanksgiving with a traditional Thanksgiving feast.  I am asking each student to bring an original dish to share, a cloth napkin, and a tin plate (aluminum pie plates work great!)  I will use spoons from the kitchen.  See the attached sheet for more information.
